As you may have already noticed, the fashion industry prepares months in advance. This means that they don't have much to base their shows off of. When they design their spring lines, they don't know what the biggest trends will be, so they have to create a trend or they wait until trends develop and follow that trend. The biggest designers each season are the ones who create trend that people want to buy and wear, for example, this fall, Chloé is really big, it introduced some of the most popular fall trends.
Now that spring is coming, designers are putting their ideas out, but no designer really knows what the next big thing will be. I'm thinking that wedges, collars, black and white, and long, flowing, dresses could be big, but at this point, there is no for sure.
