Neutral colors dominated while flashes of bright tones passed the red carpet...
Some neutrals...
Julie Bowen in Reem Acra
Kate Beckinsale in Roberto Cavalli
Katharine McPhee in Donna Karan
Shaun Robinson in Impero Couture
Taissa Farmiga in Vera Wang
Giuliana Rancic in Basil Soda
Charlize Theron in Dior
Some brights...
Zooey Deschanel in Prada
Ariel Winter in Dolce & Gabbana
Tina Fey in Oscar de la Renta
Missi Pyle and James Cromwell
Freida Pinto in Prada
And the biggest trend of all: Classic Hollywood Glamour. This trend can be seen in most of the Golden Globe's red carpet fashions. My favorite classic Hollywood look of the night is Angelina Jolie in Atelier Versace. Elegant and simple, this dress is a favorite in many best looks lists. It is a prime example of many of the biggest trends at the Golden Globes, high necklines, neutral colors, splashes of bright tones, and of course, Hollywood Glamour.
