Reinvent Your Jeans and T-Shirt Wardrobe

You would be surprised at how much you own, that you never wear. It's easy to buy something, and like the idea of wearing it, but when your rushing out the door in the morning, to neglect those pieces and just throw on jeans and a t-shirt. But, it's just as easy to reinvent that jeans and t-shirt wardrobe with pieces you already have in your closet!

Meet my wonderful friend Sara. I helped Sara find seven easy outfits to fit many occasions, using items she already had in her closet!

Look One: From Day to Night
Dress down a ruffly floral top and heels with some light wash jeans. This look is easy to take from day to night with both casual and more formal aspects.
Top: Bjewel (Marshalls)
Jeans: PacSun
Shoes: Foot Locker

Look Two: Casual and Practical.
These cargo pants are more feminine with a ruffled top. This look is casual and comfortable, great for a day of walking (vacation perhaps?) Stare off into the distance intently for added effect.
Top: Soprano (Nordstroms)
Pants: American Eagle
Boots: Star Ling

Look Three: Casual Professional
A casual slouchy shirt with jeans easily becomes more professional with a blazer and nude heels. Dark wash jeans go better with the more formal look of the blazer and heels. To get more of a boyfriend look, cuff the ends of the jeans.

Blazer: Frenchi
Top: H.I.P (Nordstroms)
Jeans: PacSun
Shoes: Ellen Tracy

Look Four: Casual, with a Texas accent.
I just had to give Sara a bit of Texas in this outfit! The tied shirt at light brown boots give this floral skirt just a little bit of Texas sass, without getting too over the top!

Top: Strut
Skirt: American Eagle
Boots: Steve Madden

love the shoulder detail on this shirt!

Look Five: Casual Party
This look is great for a casual party. The small detail on the shoulder of the top add a bit of formality, while the rest of the look stays casual and girly. The soft pink of the shirt and dark blue of the jeans adds a subtle contrast.
Shirt: Just Ginger (Nordstroms)
Jeans: Vigoss Studio (Nordstroms)
Shoes: Steve Madden

Look Six: Edgy
This look balances an edgy red leather jacket and studded top with a more feminine tight black skirt and black heels.

Jacket: Strut
Top: PacSun
Skirt: Marshalls
Shoes: Nine West

Look Seven: Comfortable and Casual
I think of this look as more of a weekend outfit. It's comfortable and chic, great if your spending most of the day inside working or running errands, etc.

Top: Romeo and Juliet (Neiman Marcus Last Call)
Leggings: Forever 21
Flats: Steve Madden

A big thank you to Sara for letting me rummage through her closet!

Fashionably,
The Fashioneur
