My Thoughts on Fall 2010 Shows, Anna Sui

One of my favorite things about fashion shows, is that they introduce new things, that have possibly previously been thought to not work. Fashion is fashion, and it is not defined by style, fashion doesn't need to be pretty, it doesn't need to be anything, so it is something amazing, and undefinable, even though many of us (including me) try to define it with words. Fashion just is.
Anna Sui's show was filled with patterns. Everything from florals to animal skins, all put together. Her show was like a collage, many things, made into one. She brought opposites together, and made them make sense, and work together. The last outfits in the show were more classic, red carpet type outfits, shining with off white velvet, and ruffles. There were not very many like this, but they were probably my favorite part of the show.
