Austin Fashion Week Day 1: 2nd Street District

My outfit of the day...

I first visited the Luxe Apothetique for the House of Luxe Soiree. Luxe carries carefully selected clothes, accessories, beauty supplies, and many local products. The cute, contemporary environment of the store is fun and stylish, while staying true to it's Austin roots.

Luxe has a lovely selection of OPI nail polish...

and cute jewelry!

Next, I visited Girl Next Door, which has an upscale, urban selection of designer clothes.
I absolutely adored their selection of both classic and unconventional jeans (especially those from J Brand and Paige).

Eliza Page's party exhibited the company's wide range of styles-from fun to elegant-and prices on gorgeous pieces of jewelry. The second street location is cute and chic, and hosted a great event!

I loved these cute charms!

Next door, DuO's party displayed it's fabulous selection of trendy clothes for both men and women. This 2nd street shop is small but sweet, and filled with fantastic finds for different occasions and budgets-they've got a little something for everyone.

Longford Market hosted a casual but trendy event at their second street location, complete with a photo booth and always stylish fashion finds. The atmosphere at Longford is fit for Austin, stylish and often casual, with just a touch of Texas sass.

From the stores to the street's, the 2nd Street District was packed with stylish looks.

The 50 Shades of Fashion red carpet event at Urban Betty Salon and Rae cosmetics was filled with stylish people and products!

I loved these rings and bracelets from Femailler.

I loved the back of this sweater!

I watched a beautiful sunset down 5th street.

To finish off the night I watched the Joie de Vintage fashion show at Joie de Vie Salon and Spa. Despite the fact that it was much hotter inside the salon, than out on the street, it was an enjoyable show featuring gorgeous vintage fashion and amazing hair and makeup.

Overall, an amazing start to Austin Fashion Week!
